John Hagee’s book Four Blood Moons Available Online

Besides being the author of several CBA bestsellers, John Hagee is the founder and pastor of the evangelistic Cornerstone Church in San Antonio, Texas and the president and CEO of Global Evangelism television, which telecasts about 120 TV stations and 110 radio stations. This mega church pastor reaches thousands of people everyday through his books, TV appearances and radio shows.

His book Four Blood Moons gained huge popularity, and the “big-screen” treatment. The book talks about the signs God sends to humanity to prepare us for the judgment day. These signs are sent through the moon, the stars and the sun. Hagee talks about the four blood moons that present an omen of the upcoming events that will occur between April 2014 and October 2015. Supposedly, the previous three red blood moons occurred on the first day of Passover, and on that date significant events occurred, such as the expelling of Jews from Spain in 1492, The war of Independence in Israel back in 1948 and the Six Day War in 1967. The next two events are expected to happen on Passover and Sukkot in 2014 an 2015.

Hagee is one of those evangelists that believe that God gave Israel to the Jews, and thinks that all Christians need to support modern-day Israel. In the book Four Blood Moons, Hagee explains that tetrads (the four blood moons) happened only three times in the last 500 years and they all happened on Jewish Holy days, so he thinks that Jews are the harbingers of such significant events.

The book Four Blood Moons is going on screen too. The movie is going to be produced by Rick Eldridge from the Reel Works Studios and the director will be Keith Merrill, who is an Academy Award Winner. The movie is presented with a very simple plot line that summarizes the entire content of the book : “Science, scripture and history align again”, and the filmmakers are promising viewers a very compelling exploration of the celestial signs, biblical texts and historical events that intersect.

All in all, the book Four Blood Moons presents a unique combination of Hagee’s opinion based on NASA research, historical facts and biblical scripture, and imposes a very interesting question: “if God gives us the signs, are we listening to them?” The entire content that brings together science and religion in a clear and plain way, makes this book a must-read.
