Beth Moore Books Available Online

Beth Moore was born in Green Bay in Wisconsin, and was a fourth kid of an Army major. She was raised in Arkadelphia, Arkansas where her father was in charge of the local cinema. The job of Beth Moore was to hand out sodas and popcorn to people who have come to watch a movie. She was sometimes allowed to enter the cinema and watch a movie and it was then that the lasting love for writing stories was born. Beth Moore loved to tell the stories as well as to write them. But her stories were not told in a movie theater, but in Sunday School of Jesus. That’s how her love for Christ began and continued to grow and became the key element of her life.

When only 18 years old, Beth Moore sensed God calling her to work for Him. Even she herself did not know the real meaning of this calling, but decided to accept the offer and say yest to whatever God asks from her. Beth Moore graduated in political science at Southwest Texas State University, and later accepted doctorate in humanities from Howard Payne University. Back in 1978, she married Keith and soon after had two daughters, Melissa and Amanda. As a young mother and wife, Beth Moore continued to served the God by working at Mother’s Day Out, speaking at retreats and luncheons and learning Christian aerobics. This passionate love for God was embedded in her life when she, at her church, took a Bible class.

In 1994 Beth Moore established Living Proof Ministries with an intention to teach other women how to love God and live in His world. Beth has written many Bible studies and books, including The Patriarchs, Believing God, Breaking Free and most current one, James: Mercy Triumphs, a book that had been read by many women of different ages and races. Her Bible study groups became known worldwide thanks to the American expatriates and missionaries who have decided to introduce their Bible studies overseas. Beth Moore is known for writing her spiritual teaching with poems and stories from the view of pertinent characters. She communicates with her readers with passion, energy, humor, grace and warmth.

Beth Moore continues to be involved in the teachings of the God. Beth Moore and her husband Keith are members of Bayou City Fellowship in their home town Huston. They are happily married and enjoy hiking, traveling, eating Mexican food, drinking coffee, walking their dogs, making each other laugh and being grandparents. Their daughters Melissa and Amanda are also included in Living Proof Ministries.
